Guangzhou Pics

Alex was not so sure about the whole headphones idea...

Matt listening to music via headphones for the first time

Guangzhou is in the southern most part of China. There are 10 million people that live here...so like Beijing and Shanghai, there are high rises everywhere. The city is on the Pearl River, our hotel is on an island on the water - so where we are staying is very pretty. It is here that all of the final paperwork for our adoption takes place. We have submitted everything to the U.S. Consulate for approval of passports and visas. We go tomorrow to be sworn in and then we head to eat dinner then go straight to the airport to leave...nothing like "eating and running" as we say in the states. It will be a long but eventful and satisfying day.

Tonight is our last night here in China...we fly out tomorrow evening to LA. God has had His hand in this journey from the beginning and we are praying for safe and "uneventful" travel (thank you Karla for the wonderfully descriptive word). We have been blessed with three precious boys and we look forward to bringing them home!

Thank you all again for your encouraging and supportive messages. We ask that you pray for our safe and peaceful travel. We love you and will see you all soon!!! Bama here we come...
