TA! We received our travel approval from China!!! We are leaving on Sunday, April 29th - my Dad's birthday (Happy Birthday Daddy!). As most of you know, there are seven people traveling to China...what a blessing. Both sets of parents are going with us and big brother Sam is traveling to meet his new brothers of course.
Just so you all know the crew if you follow our journey - here are their names:
Al and Nancy (Roberta's parents), Dwight and Rosalie (Bob's parents), Bob, Roberta and Sam. We have jokingly referred to the theme of our group as "the Clampets go to China" - a throw back of course to the old TV show.
This is a very "surreal" time right now. Once we got the news that we were traveling, all of the wheels were put into motion and it has been just a whirlwind ever since. We have had the room ready for some time and the clothes all washed and hung in the closets - but once you know that you are actually going to China to get your precious children all of the finite details must fall into place...and boy there just seem to be a million little things! God is great!
Please pray for our safe travel, good health, and easy transition for our new family.
