Finally... pictures!!!

A shot of the group with our new friend and guide Billy Lai in Hong Kong

Pics of Hong Kong (yes, it is very hazy here)

Sam driving a Sampan! What a ham - Sam I am!
Notice the real driver...TRUE Chinese...he lives on his Sampan.

Sam and some new friends that he met in the train station in Guangzhou. These little guys could not speak one anothers language but the three became fast friends!

Look at all of the luggage...and somehow we picked up a hippie vagabond along the way (he he)...Daddy(Al) and Sam resting in the train station - we really are the Clampets! (Aunt Ceil this pic is for you)

This is after 36 hours of traveling...our first pic in China - the Guangzhou airport!

Roberta, y'all look like a wonderful group! Remind Sam of all the attention he is getting in China when you get home and everyone is treating Matthew and Alex the same way here!! Sam looks like he is having a ball! You all too. Now, hurry and get those boys! :)

Sam, We are learning about China along with you! Yesterday we hung pictures of Hong Kong in the hall and today we read your blog entry on line. We are glad you are meeting new friends, but don't forget your old friends in the Red Class. We miss you!

We are so glad to share your journey. We are living vicariously. We did get our LOA the Friday before you left YEA (unexpected surprise) so we aren't far behind. We are loving walking through your amazing trip. Thanks for sharing it with us. Can't wait till you get to love on our kids. Your are in our prayers. Karen

Went to Baltimore & Fredericksburg this week but you're in CHINA!!! Hong Kong skyline looks amazing even with the haze. Sam looks to be having a lot of fun. Read "Women of the Silk" last year so want to hear more about the silk factory. Jasper, AL was on "Lost" this week and you guys are in Hong Kong. Alabama is well represented 'round the world. Love, Karen & Zach.
